What PPF can help with

PPF adds a sacrificial layer over the paint to help reduce damage from road debris and everyday wear. The exact finish and surface properties depend on the film you select.

What it cannot promise

PPF cannot prevent every chip, scratch or impact, repair existing paint damage, or guarantee a resale value. Film edges, seams and some cosmetic variation can remain visible.

How does ValueShield differ?

ValueShield is a separate white-label film offering. It uses one roll for the major body panels and is not a SunTek package. The current offer prioritizes coverage and installation efficiency with different exclusions and finish expectations.

  • Machine-cut patterns only. Vehicles without an available pattern are not eligible.
  • Roof panels may be excluded on larger vehicles.
  • Piano black trim, door handles, lights and mirrors are excluded.
  • Panels are completed once. The current offer states: “Any film or install defects remain as-is.”
  • Drop off the vehicle clean; optional cleaning is available.

Standard SunTek packages

Compare the film line, gloss or matte finish, panel coverage and edge treatment in the pricing app. Existing standard packages include a two-week checkup; confirm the included follow-up for your selected package.

ValueShield is a separate offering

ValueShield uses a white-label film and a defined, pattern-only installation scope. It is not a SunTek package. Eligibility, exclusions and the existing finish policy are explained in the comparison above and in the app.

Prepare the scope

  • Review paint condition, previous repairs and existing film.
  • Confirm exactly which panels, edges, trim and badges are included.
  • Agree on any cleaning, correction, removal or disassembly work.

Care and warranty

  • Follow the selected film’s cleaning and curing instructions.
  • Remove contamination promptly using approved methods.
  • A manufacturer warranty is specific to the product and its terms; it is not a promise of perfect installation or immunity from road damage.
